NEEDS and WANTS....

What I NEED to get from the third year=
* A strong portfolio and promotional pack for myself
* A large, strong list of contacts for my future
* As much knowledge from my tutors and lecturers as possible
* A strong dissertation
* Stronger communication skills
* Better presentational skills
* Knowledge of the industry - printers, clients etc

What I WANT from the third year=

* Stronger presentational skills
* Better communication skills

Skills I NEED to develop=

* Stronger communication skills; with printers, clients, colleagues and peers
* Better presentational skills
* Executing briefs to a high standard
* Dreamweaver skills so that I can promote myself; take on other clients; expand branding to the internet

Skills I WANT to develop=

You can see clearly that both my wants and needs are very similar, I believe this is a good and bad thing. Good because it shows I want to achieve what I have to - there is not really an area I know I have to develop which I don't want to do. However, it may also be seen as a bad thing as there is no extra 'fun' things I want to achieve that I don't have to.
